Lake Winnipeg Foundation: "[SAGR] Solves Northern Wastewater Challenges"
In an article published in their special insert to the April 7, 2018 Winnipeg Free Press, the Lake Winnipeg Foundation profiled Nexom's SAGR technology as implemented at the Misipawistik Cree Nation (MCN) wastewater treatment plant near Grand Rapids, Manitoba.
Nexom President Martin Hildebrand was interviewed for the piece, which explained how "even in the coldest of winter temperatures, [the SAGR] can still effectively break down all [of MCN's] ammonia."

According to its website, the Lake Winnipeg Foundation, is "an environmental non-governmental organization seeking solutions to ensure a clean, healthy Lake Winnipeg and watershed now and for future generations." The insert focused on wastewater treatment in Manitoba and its role in protecting the critical Lake Winnipeg ecosystem.
